On August 26, 2008, a strange account of an eight-foot tall woman with a talent for making children and teenagers disappear was posted on a website in Japan... and from there it grew far past the woman's substantial height. According to the story, a being called 'HachiShakuSama' was accidentally released from a shrine in a small farming community where she had been entrapped for fifteen years; and only through an extraordinary effort was the author of the initial account saved from the tall woman's attentions.
